About W Perspective

I started using WordPress primarily to share the photos taken by me, mostly of those taken at my home island, Penang, a small but beautiful island off the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Hence, I hope this will be a nice place to provide pictorial information for those intending to visit Penang.

I like drawing since I was small and I found that photography is also another medium of capturing and showing what you see or feel with your mind and heart. All of my pictures are usually taken with my compact cameras and mobile phone camera and most of them are edited via Photoshop. I enjoy taking photos and then experimenting on them with Photoshop (or as most refer to it as photo manipulation).

Lastly, I hope you enjoy your stay here, however brief it may be, and feel free to provide any comment that you may have. 🙂

  1. Hi! Your pictures are really good. Congratulations! I’ve already added this website to my “favorites” 🙂 I’m from Brazil, I study philosophy and I’m a member in a group of studies on the work of J. R. R. Tolkien. In November we’re going to have a special meeting, during which we’re gonna hear a talk given by a professor from the state university here, talking about the symbology of the One Ring both in the books by Tolkien and the movies directed by P. Jackson. I was wondering if we could use the picture you’ve taken of The One Ring on the map of Middle Earth. A very beautiful photo. We would use it on our poster announcing the talk, and of course we would give you the credits (providing the adress of this website on the poster, for example). Well, just tell me if it is ok. I really hope you can help us! And once again, congratulations on your good work!

    • Hi there, sure you may use it for your talk event as long as it’s being credited. 🙂 On a side note, would you mind sharing a picture of that event when it started as it seems interesting?

      • Thank you very much, Will. The photo shall be properly credited. Will, can I call you that? And of course I will share a lot of pictures on my own blog and make sure to leave a link here, so you can check it out. I can also write in English as well as in Portuguese when I write about this event on my blog, so you can understand a little bit of what happened. Thank you again, and keep up the good work!
